Tears of A Dragon
Dragons don't cry.
They fly.
Whenever he wasn't happy, he flew. Flying would somehow made him felt better; momentarily turning his troubled mind off . Most of all, flying made him forget.
Dragons don't cry.
They die.
His parents died protecting him from a powerful demon when he was very young. But he didn't cry for them. Not because he wouldn't, but because he couldn't. Tears wouldn't come for his grief ran too deep.
Dragons don't cry.
They fight.
He fought Yubaba for years to reclaim his freedom after Chihiro left. He had failed countless time but he never gave up. And so he won at last. That was all that mattered.
Dragons don't cry.
But he almost did that day.
She looked so beautiful in her wedding dress that he couldn't tear his gaze away from her. He hid himself from her sight and watched her as she walked down the aisle besides her groom. Quietly, he wished her happiness for one last time before he soared towards the sky.
Afterwards it rained a soft drizzle in the middle of that sunny day. Odd, Chihiro thought when she looked up to the sky. She suddenly felt an urge to cry too. She quickly dismissed it as a silly thought as her newly-wed husband held out an umbrella for her. Of course she should be happy. She was loved so much.
A/N: Yeah, I know it's so short but I can't seem to write anything recently. So I decided to kick start with something short and simple first. Thanks for reading anyway.
