The battle was over. The aliens had gone home and saved their planet with the Mew Aqua, Masaya was in England, and Ichigo was crying. Not because Masaya was gone, oh no. She had lost something much more important when the aliens had left. She had lost Kisshu. The one who always stole her kisses, teased her, tried to kill her, and yet always found a way to make her feel as if she were the most important person in the world. As if she mattered. As if she wasn't just a toy he was fascinated with, but would get over. And he had always tried to save her, hadn't he? "Oh Kisshu," She managed to choke out, "why did you leave me?" *** "Well, I had to get the Mew Aqua to my planet, didn't I?" Came the silky smooth reply. Ichigo whirled around, her eyes filled with disbelief- and hope. Sure enough, it was Kisshu. He was floating right outside her open window, grinning just like the old days, except with a softer look in his eyes. "KISSHU!!!!!" Ichigo practically screamed as she ran to the window. Good thing her parents weren't home, otherwise there would have been some serious explaining to do. Ichigo collided with him despite his being outside the window. Soon she looked up into his beautiful golden eyes and kissed him. Yes, you heard right. SHE kissed HIM. ICHIGO kissed KISSHU. He kissed back without a moment of hesitation. However, they had to break for air [or at least Ichigo did] and they broke apart. "Well," Kisshu interrupted the comfortable silence, "Aren't you going to invite me in?" *** "As long as you promise to never EVER leave me again." Ichigo stated seriously. "I promise." Replied Kisshu as he looked at her with all the love he had in him. Ichigo grinned with delight as she helped him squeeze through the window.
She was finally happy.
