Annabeth's POV

"Annabeth pay attention!" My teacher, Ms. Pearson said to me. I snapped to attention, but all that was on my mind was Percy. I managed to pay attention after that.

After the last bell rang I went to my locker. I have pictures of Percy all over my locker. I am going to go and visit him as soon as I get out of here.

I decided that I'd better call and make sure he was there.

"Hey Annabeth!" Percy said as soon as he picked up the phone. How did he know it was me?

"Hey I am going to come and visit since we haven't seen each other in a long time. Is that okay?" I asked him.

"That's fine. We need to catch up with each other. I miss you a lot." He told me.

"I will be over in about an hour. We do need to catch up with each other, and I miss you a lot too." He told me.

"I will be over in about an hour." I told him excitedly, and then we hung up.

I am so happy that he is looking forward to me coming over. Even though I have been going to school in New York, I haven't had time to go and visit Percy. Since my school has dorms and it is private I had to sneak out. Once I had gotten out I decided to rent a taxi to get there.

Once I had hailed one I climbed in. "I need to go to 13515 Florence Lane." I told the driver. Then we headed off.

"Here we are." He announced. "You owe me $10." I paid him quickly and headed off to go and see him.

I went into the building where his apartment was, and looked for the map. I had forgotten exactly where his room was. I found it, and I went up the elevator. Once I had arrived at his apartment I knocked gently so I wouldn't startle them.

Percy answered the door. "Hey Annabeth!" He said excitedly.

"Hello! I am so glad to see you again." I replied back.

"Come on in, I told my mom you were coming."

I walked in, "Hi Ms. Jackson."

"Hello Annabeth. It is nice to see you again." She replied back.

Percy and I headed off to his bedroom so we could have some privacy.

"I am so glad to see you. How have you been?" He asked me.

I knew the answer right off the bat. "I have been good, but I haven't been able to pay much attention in school because I have been thinking of you all the time. How about you?"

He looked down. "I am moving."

"What! When? Where?" I pounded back at him.

"I am moving this summer. My mom says that I will still be able to go to Camp Half Blood." He told me, but I could tell that he wasn't looking forward to the move. "I am moving down to Florida."

"Oh, well on the bright side at least it is really nice down there." I replied back hoping that would make him feel a little better.

"I know, but that means a whole new school, new friends, I had finally grown into the school I am going to now and I have made some friends. After moving, you won't be close by anymore."

Poor Percy I thought to myself as I put my arm around him. "Everything will be fine." I told him.

"I know, but still…" He trailed off, and as I looked over at him he had started to cry. "I won't have any of my friends, and we won't be close to each other."

I gave him a hug, "Everything will be okay." I told him. I knew that I would miss him terribly, but I will still see him at Camp Half-Blood over the summer.

"Annabeth I am sorry about all this." He told me.

"it's fine I will still see you during the summer." I told him, hoping that would help lift his spirits. "I will miss seeing you as much as we can now, but we can still call each other and catch up then."

He looked hopeful for a moment. "You aren't upset about this?"

I looked over at him. "Why would I be upset? You don't have control over this."

"I know." He replied back.

"I have got to go. I have a lot of homework this weekend, and I don't want to fall behind."

"Okay see you soon." He replied hopeful.

I leaned forward, and so did he and we shared a long lost kiss.
