Iris's POV

Oh dang. I love Ash. Oh. Dang. I facepalm myself - how can I admit this? I need help. Serious help. I mean, no one - NO ONE - can know this. Except for... Dawn. Yes! I call her up, hoping she can make it. As the phone rings, I try to recount how this happened.

I woke up, and it was a normal day. I knew Ash was visiting the village tomorrow, and I was so excited. I was bustling around my little home, making a cake for his arrival. Then I went to the store to buy him some of that chocolate he loves. Only when I got home did I realize that I was going a little overboard. I probably shouldn't have done all that... so I fed it to my Pokemon. I did save the chocolate - a little treat doesn't say too much, right?

Dawn picks up, so I snap out of my little flashback.

"Hello? Iris?" I hear Dawn's voice.

"Dawn! Thank the Champion! Listen, I need your help. Can you come over?" I ask. Pleasepleaseplease...

"Yeah. I'm in town for a coordinator's competition anyways, so I'll be able to be there at about 6:30. Sleepover?"

"Yes! Oh my god thank you. See you tonight!" I say, and quickly hang up. I get dressed in a sweater and jeans, and with Axew on my shoulder, I walk into town. I need air.

So. I love Ash. How? I mean, his hair has always been so spiky and adorable, his eyes were always so competitive and gentle, and his lips... I shake my head. Bad Iris, I scold myself. Don't go all girly girl on him. Ugh. This is why I hate all of this "boy/girl" stuff.

"Iris?" I look up and see Serena standing there. Great.

"Hi, Serena!" I say in my nicest voice. "Why are you here?"

"Oh, just visiting. Since our journey has ended, I haven't seen Ash in a while. I heard he was coming to visit you here, so I decided to join you. That's okay, right?" Serena said, and without waiting for an answer, she walked away. Oh. No. Please no... I wanted this to be just me and Ash! I wanted this to be... fun... and... a little bit more... I look at the clock on the temple tower and rush home. 6:15 already? I hope Dawn isn't there... I mean, I want her to be there, but I don't want to be rude.

As I walk up to the door, I see no one there. Good. I rush inside and put a bunch of blankets in the sitting room for tonight. I set up some snacks and put A Pokemon Love Story in the DVD player. Just as I finish setting up, I hear a knock on the door. Throwing the last of the garbage in the trash bin, I walk over and throw open the door.

"DAWN!" I scream and hug her.

"IRIS!" She screams back, and hugs me just as tightly. "Oh my god, I missed you so much! Let's get down to business."

At ten pm, both of us are sprawled on the floor of the sitting room, laughing. Oh my god I missed doing this with Dawn.

"So," she says, in the middle of our giggling. "You needed help?"

"Yeah," I gulp. "I... I think I love Ash." Dawn looks at me, dead serious. "What?"

"Well... THAT'S SO CUTE!" She squeals, and I laugh. "Oh my god, I'm so happy for you!" She hugs me, and we collapse into laughing again. We spend the rest of the night talking about the boys we've traveled with, and why I like Ash. When we finally fall asleep (at about 2 am) we've talked about so much stuff that I think my brain will explode.

When I wake up, I see a figure sitting on my couch. I look over and see Dawn still sleeping next to me, so I get kinda confused. Then my brain works. It's Ash. I blink, and he looks over at me.

"Hi, Iris!" he says. Right as he says it, Serena (How did she get in here?) walks over and sits on his lap.

"Iris! You're awake! Oh, yeah, while you were sleeping, Ashie here and I talked. He's my boyfriend!"

So... that was my story! Well, Part One, at least. Please don't hate - I mean no harm. I just had an idea, so I wrote it down. Anyways, thanks for reading, and stay posted for new chapters! I'm not sure when the next part will be out, but I'll try to make it as soon as possible.
