For many years, Arthur was a man that had class; nothing really pegged his interest, except maybe Francis crying for money at his doorstep. One day; however, he was walking out, and he saw something that for once in his life got his attention. It was a little boy; he looked like he had nowhere to go, so to save the child from abandonment, he raised the child as his own; his name was Alfred. Alfred had grown up to be a strong young man, and he made Arthur very proud! Arthur made him into the man he was until something changed.
Arthur had been going out very often, and it was making Alfred very anxious. He decided to face Arthur and demand to know what was wrong. "Arthur, what's been going on lately? You've been acting weird." He asked. Arthur was sitting at his desk writing a letter. He stopped writing, and he rose up from his desk. Alfred was confused. He was talking to him for a second, and then he was being pushed against a wall. Arthur kissed Alfred. "Alfred, I love you." He said. Alfred was surprised. He was surprised because despite them living together, he never ever said that. After that, Arthur got down on one knee. "Alfred, will you marry me?" he asked. There was a long pause, but Alfred just smiled. "Yes."
Years had passed since then, and Alfred and Arthur were married for a whole year. They were going to have their anniversary, but as it so happened, Arthur thought that Alfred had forgotten. He would be going out more often that day, and every time Arthur tried to act "flirty," he would ignore him. It made Arthur doubt their relationship, but Arthur was a forgiving man. That night, Arthur had gone out drinking, and Francis had taken him home. When he came inside, no one was home. He looked around the house, but there was no sign of anything living here. He walked into the kitchen, and he saw a note on the table. There was an address on it. 1324 Haberkorn lane.
He left and caught a cab that drove him to where the address was sent. He arrived at what looked like a villa. He walked to the door and knocked. The door opened, and the entire place was cleaned and made to look like a high star hotel. "Alfred, what is all this?" he asked. Alfred smiled. "This is my anniversary present for you." Alfred walked Arthur through the villa. They finally came to the last room, and a balcony was opened to them. "Do you like it?" Alfred asked. Arthur jumped into his arms. "Of course I do! This is amazing Alfred, and you did it all for me." He was ecstatic!
After a few hours, Alfred and Arthur stood on the balcony in yukata. "Alfred?" he asked. "Yes?" he replied. "Can you do me a favor? Could you crouch down?" he asked. Alfred did as he was asked, and Arthur kissed him. "I could never ever ask for anything more than you." He said. They both stayed at the villa for a week, and then they came home, but the one thing that was different about the both of them was the fact that the trip they took pulled them closer than they've ever been before. They would go everywhere together, and when anyone asked them what they thought of each other, they would say the same thing. "My lover is a one of a kind!"
