A/N: A Random Drabble. Something that was picking inside of my brain, a combination of two of my favorite fandoms, Doctor Who and Lord of the Rings, these two quotes were running through my head when I wrote this. One of course is the Doctor's quote, albeit a bit altered and the other is from Galadriel and Frodo (the movie version of Lord of the Rings) This might become more in the future. But I felt like typing this up and sharing it.

Will You Look into the Mirror?
That's when they saw eternity. As...novices, they were taken for initiation. They would stand in front of the Untempered Schism….a gap in the fabric of reality through which could be seen the whole of the vortex. They would stand there, eight years old, staring at the raw power of time and space, just a child. Some would be inspired. Some would run away. And some would go mad.
Will you look into the mirror? What will I see? Even the wisest cannot tell. For the mirror shows many things: things that were, things that are, and some things... that have yet not come to pass...
So was the fate of the Time Lords, to look into the mirror of time and space to see things. Things that were, things that are, and things….that had not come to pass. So was the fate of the Doctor and the Master. The Doctor ran. Was he afraid of what he saw? Or was he inspired to run? And the Master heard the drums, did it drive him mad? Or was he inspired? What did the mirror, the raw power of time and space show these two equally driven Time Lords? Such power drove the fate of many of the Time Lords to their own doom and destiny.
