Chapter 1:
Harry's P.o.V.
"You really are Harry Potter, wow, I would have never imagine the day I actually met you! You are famous," Ron curiously stared me while picking up a chocolate frog.
"Yeah," I replied nonchalantly as Ron plops the frog into his mouth, somewhat reminding me of a hippo as I reach over for the jellybeans.
"What is it like, being you know, famous," he asked as he gazed out of the train's window almost longingly. The sky has more clouds approaching us as the day turns into night.
"Well," I start to say as I think about the question as Hermione curiously gazes at me. "Well, I didn't even know I was famous until Hagrid told me."
"You must have known though," Ron implied as his stare from the window came back to me. "Some wizard must have told you about it, I mean you lived in the wizard world, right?"
"No, Ron, I didn't, I lived with my muggle relatives," I remarked. I felt somewhat uncomfortable with this present situation, like a criminal in the middle of an interrogation, kind of awkward.
Hermione made herself a part of the conversation, "So, you didn't even know magic existed until a few days ago?" I waited a minute to answer as the intently waited to hear it. Ron took another frog and Hermione looked at the custard.
"Yeah," I quietly spoke. "My muggle relatives who really hate magic told me my parents died in a car crash." Complete silence. I heard Scabbers jump down from the chair and hide under Ron's chair. Ron, meanwhile, comically had his mouth agape with the chocolate frog still in it, gross. Hermione looked startled and upset.
"That's horrible, Harry," Hermione's gaze fell to the floor.
"Seriously, but at least you are like famous here, you must love that," Ron remarked as he took a jelly bean and smiled as he chewed it. "Marshmallow."
"I would rather have my parents, than be famous. I don't want to be famous," I conveyed as Ron gave me a look of incredulity, but let it go as Hermione gave me a hug.
"Come on Ron, join in, group hug!" she eagerly encouraged the idea as Ron put down his jelly beans and joined in. The friends stayed like that for a minute as the sun set outside, and clouds covered the dark, dreamy night sky.
So, I've decided that there will be like a bunch of one-shots leading up to the climax of this story. I hope you enjoyed it!
