Winter:
Winter…
When the world goes to sleep.
Where plants seem to die.
Weather becomes colder
Snow attacks
Ground becomes more and more slippery
It traps us inside, which is a good thing
With the warmth of our family and friends
The fire crackling, something good on TV or listening to old Christmas carols
With hot chocolate in our hands sipping away the cold inside and out
But wouldn't you want to be out there playing with the snow
Holding a hand to keep you balanced when ice skating or making snow
Angels with your loved ones reliving childhood joys.
Building snowman's, throwing soft balls of snow, with bursts of laughter
Showing us that we love it, we're having fun.
Because in the end
Winter ok
Yes, there are the downsides and the upsides
But if we have each other and think of the good things its ok
Winter's ok!
