Summary: Chloe hates herself for being addicted to Billy.
Chloe sighed as she watched the clock on her nightstand flash midnight. Waiting up for her husband to come home had quickly become a nightly routine; one most newlyweds never experience. Out of all of the men in the world, she had to fall hopelessly in love with Billy Abbott, the biggest jerk of them all.
Cordelia stirred within her basinet, bringing Chloe back to reality. Over the past two months, the little pink bundle had brought out of her emotions she did not think she possessed. "Don't worry, D." Chloe said as she pulled back the bed covers in order to soothe her daughter "daddy should be home soon". The baby instantly cooed at the touch of her mother's hand and was soon slumbering peacefully again.
Chloe felt the tension increase in her neck as the clock flashed 12:15. "Damnit Billy, you should be home by now" she mumbled under her breath so she wouldn't disturb the baby "if you're not here in ten minutes I…" she said stopping midsentence when she heard the front door open and shut. Goosebumps covered her skin as she silently cursed her body for being excited to know that he finally had arrived home and would soon be walking through their bedroom door.
"Daddy's home" Billy said as he came through the bedroom door and dropped onto the bed "did you miss me?" "No, but D. missed her daddy" Chloe said as she got a whiff of his breath "so did you and Jack Daniels have a good time tonight?" "Oh, we had a blast" Billy said kicking off his shoes and undoing his tie "too bad you couldn't join us". "Well, one of us has to be a full time parent" Chloe said secretly admiring her husbands well formed physique underneath his shirt "besides, I'm sure Mackenzie the bar maid was more than happy to join the party". "Not tonight, Chloe" Billy said suddenly, his voice dripping with annoyance "I come home to you, isn't that enough?" "Yeah, Billy" Chloe said giving him half a laugh "it's everything I dreamed of".
Turning off the light, Chloe continued to watch Billy undress with the assistance of moonlight. "Enjoying the show" Billy said giving his wife a devilish grin as he freed himself of the last remnants of clothing and slid into bed. "Don't flatter yourself" Chloe said as her heart raced with desire. "Well" Billy said nibbling along Chloe's collarbone "let me show you how sorry I am for being late". Chloe sighed as she enjoyed Billy's tender manipulation of her flesh. "You know I hate myself for loving you, Billy Abbott" Chloe said, her voice filled with passion and anger. "I know" Billy said "you'll hate yourself even more in the morning".
