Notes: This makes a whole lot more sense if you have seen the Buffy episode Wrecked, 6x10. (And yes, if you go to watch it there would be major relationship spoilers for you.) And I bent canon a little, and made Henry dislike garlic. I know it shouldn't affect him, but I think if I had the power of super smell (or whatever he wants to call it), garlic would smell awful to me. This was one of lj userdevohoneybee 's prompts. (I'm working on the other two. I'll definitely have them by Valentines Day! Thank you for your help and I hope I don't disappoint you with the Buffy reference.)
The stench permeated through every stitch of fabric, every pore on Tony's body. It mingled with the clean air of the apartment and seeped into the furniture. It smelled so putrid that Henry had to wonder how long Tony had been there, contaminating his apartment with the retched herb.
Following the smell into his bedroom, he found Tony with a necklace of garlic around his neck, clutching a cross tightly to his chest.
Tony looked up as he heard Henry enter the room but ducked his head back down when he saw Henry's expression.
"I wanted to know if it worked for Buffy..."
