The Bet
Blake was lying on her bed, reading a book.
"Hiya, Blake," Yang greeted from the base of the bunk bed.
"Hey, Yang," Blake replied absentmindedly, turning the page.
Yang put her hands behind her back, smiling. "So, you remember that time when you bet me I couldn't beat a pack of ten Beowolves without any help?"
"Uh-huh," replied Blake, still not caring.
Yang grinned devilishly. "Well, it's time to pay up."
Blake closed the book and widened her eyes slightly before putting on a mask of apathy. "Fine. How much Lien do you want?"
Yang snickered. "Oh, I don't want money. Come down here."
"Thanks for the study group, Weiss!" chirped Ruby as she, Weiss, and a few other students were walking to their dorms.
"Oh, the pleasure's all mine," replied Weiss.
Ruby opened the door as they got to their dorm, and she and Weiss immediately became stunned and confused at what they saw.
Yang was trying not to laugh, scratching the head of a hypnotized-looking, purring Blake. Yang waved at her sister and other teammate. "Oh, hey guys. How was the study group?"
She put her hand down, and Blake shook her head, snapping out of it. The Faunus glanced at Ruby, then Weiss, and back again.
"Don't ask."
So, I haven't really written in a while, so I apologize if this wasn't the best. But a funny little one-shot is a great way to get back into the groove of writing. Please leave a review!
