Kageyama sat down on the small wooden bench in the large gym, where Oikawa had told him to sit, because, "You have many things, but talent isn't one of them." A lump formed in Kageyama's throat as he held back tears. He sat there until practice was over, dreadfully wishing that his senpai would recognize his practice and hard work. He thought about that so much that he didn't even notice the majority of the team had left to the locker rooms.

He felt a hard poke in his side, and looked up and saw Oikawa glaring down at him. "I guess Tobio-chan can't handle a little friendly judgement- huh?" Then snickered at his own thought. Kageyama couldn't hold it back anymore, he felt tears brimming his eyes. As he gripped the bench painfully tight he yelled out, "I AM TALENTED, AND MY NAME IS KAGEYAMA!" Then burst into tears, curling himself into a ball. Oikawa was shocked, he didn't mean to make Kageyama cry. Oikawa carefully put a hand on the sobbing boys back, he could feel him stiffen. He sat down next to his teammate and softly said, "I know your name." Kageyama sniffled and looked up at Okiawa with big glassy eyes, "Then why don't you use it?" He asked bleakly. Oikawa looked up at the ceiling before replying, "Because you scare me." That was Kageyama's turn to be shocked. "I scare you?" He asked in a shocked tone. Oikawa looked down at the ground before answering, "Yeah, with all your talent you could easily beat me for being a setter." Kageyama looked confused, "But you said-" Okiawa interrupted, "Yeah I know, I lied." It was quiet for a while, before Okiawa got up and popped his back giving Kageyama his signature sly smile, "Iwa-chan, is probably looking for me." He turned on his heel to leave but before he left he said, "f you ever tell anyone what I said, I'll beat you!"

As Oikawa walked off, Kageyama felt a little better, knowing his senpai was scared of him!
