He flew above me, looking strong, silent, frightening, and beautiful all at the same time. He both terrified and fascinated me. I couldn't understand how someone with as stoic a face as his had eyes that gave away so much. There isn't another person in the world who has the same combination of tenderness and power. There is no one else like my Fang. He's everything I could ask for as a friend and my one and only soulmate. If I could fly beneath his gorgeous dark wings for the rest of my life, well that'd be more than all right with me.
