Thousands of years ago at the creation and of Equestria…
Once a group of very powerful ponies, an Earth pony, a Pegasus, a Unicorn came together with their followers. To a summit held in a location long lost in Equestrian history. They all agreed to create powerful gems that will hold all the main traits of the ponies Laughter, Kindness, Loyalty,Generosity, Honesty and Magic. A small group ponies decided to abandon the idea of good magic and decided to take a different approach and create dark elements, elements that would serve their own craves for power. They used a bizarre ritual to create them. They were discovered just as the last one was created, the five that existed were banished to areas too secret that even they soon forget where they were. It was that using the cutie map to survey Equestria that our main heroes discovered the first. The map is where the story begins….
"Wow the maps as cool as ever"! Said Spike. Walking across the map and pretending to wreck havoc on Equestria (like he usually did for fun), "I still don't know what it's for"? Questioned Twilight. Suddenly the map started to glow and the cutie marks swept over to an area and then darkened to be like cruel colours. "What in' the hay is that supposed to mean"? Said Applejack.
