She had died of Nova 6. The same disease that had killed thousands of Russian, and British souls; the same disease that was nearly unleashed onto the United States in 2025, and 2054. She knew she was dead. So, why was she in a room with some sort of German scientist?
"No…no, no! This has to be fake! Maybe it's Corvus's doing…no, I don't have an DNI… So…this is real?" Rachel thought as she panicked, looking for a way out. (And maybe a gun…)
"Calm down, Ms. Kane; I'm aware of your situation. I will do a favor…in return of a favor." The scientist assured.
Rachel started to calm down, wondering what was going on, as her heart started slowing down to normal levels.
"Ok…what is your so-called "favor", Mr…" Rachel asked once calm.
"Dr. Edward. Edward Richtofen. Oh, and for the favor…You see, my three colleagues and I plan to save our own universe from the zombie hoard, and you have something that we want; a Direct Neural Interface, allowing us access to one of the many relics that I desire to save them. So, you give me the DNI, and I'll give you your body and life back…only in a different universe."
Rachel thought about this; she would give this scientist Hall's DNI from Kebechet, and in return, he'll allow her to live again in a different universe; one in which Corvus never existed. But she'll never see her operative; the women who saved her from the Immortals in Singapore, and who helped her and Lt. Khalil during the Egyptian campaign.
"Fine." Rachel replied, "You can have it."
As Rachel passed Richtofen Hall's DNI, Richtofen pulled out a summoning key and a portal opened up behind her.
"Thank you, . That would be appericiated. Now, you're free to go." The doctor replied.
She was wary about entering the portal, fearing where she'll end up. Until she heard a sound of a zombie.
"Hurry up, doc! These maggot- brains got some damn Panzers on us!" Someone said from behind the door.
"Hurry, ; On to your new life!" Richtofen said, as Rachel quickly entered the portal.
"Wake up, Outrider. Wake up!" Ruin had said, as Outrider slowly woke up.
"Wait…who are you…who's that woman over there?" Outrider asked in a confused manner.
"You don't remember me, Kane? I'm Alex Dundky; the kid that used to tackle everyone for you. Oh, and the new girl is Gou Xiulong…came from Singapore to help us…" Ruin had said, as the Seraph gave her a death stare.
"Wait, Gou Xiulong…but we killed her in Singapore… Oh no." Outrider thought, as they were one of many VTOL's heading to Egypt to go against the CDP.
