Skye had always been pretty, that much Grant Ward knew to be true, but there were times when he saw her as absolutely beautiful. The first time he noticed she was beautiful and not just pretty was not long after a mission they shared together, he was sitting in the lounge reading a book when she entered claiming she felt like the had gotten off on the wrong foot, and offering him a drink. Her smile had lit up the room, and she had said "Usually one person has doesn't have the solution, but one hundred people with one percent of the solution, that will get it done, I think that's beautiful, pices solving a puzzle" he had responded by saying "you and I see the world differently." when she sat down across from him she looked nothing short of beautiful, if only he had the guts to tell her that...

The second time Ward noticed Skye was beautiful was when they had some time, Coulson had insisted, so he along with Fitzsimmons and Skye decided to go to a local coffee shop, he told the others to find somewhere to sit while he ordered the coffee, with coffee ordered, delivered and paid for he headed back towards his friends, he found them sitting in a booth chair next to a window. The fading rays of the sunset filtered through the window illuminating Skye in a gold aura, catching the softness of her hair , the gentle curve of her jaw, she looked like angel, a beautiful angel and still Grant did not have the courage to tell her opting to hand her a cup of coffee instead...

The third time he noticed she was beautiful was during a game of battleship, "Did you just give me a compliment?" she had asked, "I made a comment." he had replied. "a kind one! did it physically hurt to do that?, do you need and icepack?" he let a smile slip out. "Wow a compliment and a smile!" she later won the game and did a little victory dance, "you are so beautiful..." is what he wanted to say, but he chickened out and said "best two out of three..."

The fourth time he thought Skye was beautiful was when she was

in the med pod recovering from being sot by Ian Quinn, she was covered in blood, and looked so pale, almost like snow white or sleeping beauty, but she was still beautiful, only he couldn't tell her this time because he knew she wouldn't hear him...

The fifth time he noticed she was beautiful was when she finally woke up, he was so exited to see her brilliant smile and her big doe eyes.

"I must look terrible, Simmons won't even bring me a mirror!

"you'll always be beautiful to me, Skye" is what he wanted to say, but instead he said "I've seen worse."

"wow thanks!"

"I just mean you look better then when you were dying"

"swingin and amissin Ward." (there was that beautiful smile he loved.)

"it's just great to see you better..." it wasn't exactly "you are beautiful," but it was a start...

The sixth time he noticed she was beautiful was in the lounge of providence, they had finally gotten around to those drinks he had promised and due to not being able to hold it back any longer, and probably due some what to the alcohol. He spilled his feelings to her, she looked back at him shocked,

"I just don't understand, how you could love me, I'm not beautiful..."

"yes you are, you are the most beautiful women I have ever met, on the inside and out."

"Really?"

"Really..."

Their lips came together in a passionate kiss, that lead to more pleasurable activities that night...
