Heloo! This is my first published poem, taken from Michael's POV, as he sits at his home in Japan, just after the 8th book. I SOOOO adored this book and REALLY want him to forgive her and go back to her (and her not to go for JP!!!). I know this isn't very good, but i liked parts of it and want to keep my mind open to all forms of writing. Based upon a fan fic i was planning after listening to "Far Away" by Nickelback while reading the end.

Don't Let Go
So hard to stay mad when we're so far apart,
But harder to forget the pains in my heart.
You'd make it all better, if only you were here,
And yet where we stand, I'm still not quite clear.
Is it easier for you to hurt and hate me,
Than to it at home and await me?
Did your words you sent prove true?
Or did your guilt prove too much for you?
Is it harder for me to try to forgive you
Than to pretend that I don't miss you?
Your photographs fill my eyes with tears,
And remind me of all those bittersweet years.
Did all that love fade in just one night?
With our seperation, did we prove them right?
Do you regret where your actions have led?
The images repeatedly flash in my head.
You say, "It's over, don't try to hold on",
To what we thought once was so strong.
Yet I can't give up, can't leave it behind.
Can't stand the thought of another girl in my mind.
Got to let go of the anger and rage.
Got to pick up the book and start a new page.
Got to scream after you, "Don't walk away!
Don't let go yet, we'll make it some day."
