"GOTCHA!" Asuma yelled as a snowball hit Gai full force in the face.
All the Jounins stood outside. It had recently snowed in Konoha and the ninjas were excited. IT wasn't often they got to see snow or even be off long enough to enjoy it.
"Oh, you're gonna wish you didn't do that" Gai said as he made a snowball.
Gai and Asuma began a snowball war. Kurenai was watching and silently cheering on Asuma while Kakashi stood off to the side being as silent as usual. It wasn't long before Yamato, Anko and Iruka walked over to see what was going on.
"Hey guys...WHOA!" Anko yelled as she walked in and ducked as Gai threw the snowball he had created.
That snowball went over her ducked head and hit Kakashi square in the face. Kakashi didn't even flinch just shook the snow out of his hair then put his book away.
"Thanks." He said unemotionally and walked farther over to avoid all the
snowballs.
Anko made a snow ball and threw it at Yamato's arm. He made another one then threw it back at her. The two also began to throw some, occasionally opting to hit Iruka who was throwing at both groups. The ninjas were soon laughing. Asuma, trying to hit Gai, over threw and hit Anko. Anko gave him an evil glare then threw one at him, missing as he ducked. That snowball hit Kurenai straight in the face.
"Owww! ASUMA! MAKE HER STOP!" she whined and then was hit by another at a higher speed.
"Bulls eye!" Yamato yelled and Iruka began to laugh.
"GO YAMATO!" Anko yelled at him then ran over to them.
"Asuma get them!" Kurenai whined once more.
Asuma made several snowballs and threw them at Anko, Yamato and Iruka. Anko and Yamato managed to avoid all of the snowballs but one hit Iruka in the eye causing him to fall and slip on ice.
"Oh no!" Anko said as Yamato shielded her.
"Haha. Nice one!" Kurenai said but before she could laugh a huge snowball hit her in the face and another hit Asuma.
"Wha-?" Asuma yelled looking around then noticed Kakashi standing there with a bunch of snowballs made.
"YOU!" Asuma said and was about to throw one at him as another hit him. "You didn't even move."
"No one and I mean no one, messes with my Ruka and gets away with it. So unless you want to deal with me leave him alone." Kakashi said forcefully.
"Kashi..." Iruka said.
"Let's go Kurenai, We've got better things to do." Asuma said and
took her hand and left.
Kakashi walked over and helped Iruka up then hugged him.
"I'm sorry, I should have helped you and not let them hurt you." Kakashi said.
"It's ok, thank you so much." Iruka said and buried his face into
Kakashi's chest.
"Aww look at the happy couple..." Anko said and took Yamato's hand.
"Shut up Anko!" Kakashi said and then kissed Iruka.
"Well this is a great way to end Christmas Eve. LETS GO PARTY" Yamato
said.
"Race you!" Anko yelled and the two took off.
"We better go or we are going to get left behind." Iruka said.
Kakashi held Iruka as he tried to run away and then let go and took off.
"HEY!" Iruka yelled and finally chased after the three.
