"Idiot," A young boy muttered under his breath as he watched the older teenager walk away. His light blond bangs covered his eyes so his expression was not visible.
The older boy with dark blue hair froze in his tracks. He whirled around to face the kid, "What did you say?" He asked coldly.
The pale boy didn't seem fazed at all by his tone or his piercing glare, "You always do things for others, even if it means hurting yourself. Then when you finally have the chance to make yourself happy you ruin it. In the end you rip up your heart for no reason."
"Who cares," The teen murmured to himself. "She loves you more anyways. Shouldn't I let you have her since you feel the same way?" He asked without a hint of concern in his voice. But in the inside his heart was really twisted with agony and a pang of jealously.
Ikuto had started to walk away again and the blond known as Tadase became angry. He lifted his head to show the tears that had welled up in his blue eyes.
"Who cares?! Who cares?! Do you know how hard she cries when your not around? How it's like her soul has faded whenever you leave? Not even I can make her laugh or smile! You say "she deserves better" or "we're not meant for each other". Bull crap Ikuto! This isn't about me or even you, it's about her!" He ranted, panting hard now.
The tears had fell from his eyes and stained his cheeks. He tried to wipe them away but that only made them fall faster. Ikuto was shocked from his speech, mostly because he knew everything he said was true.
When Amu had confessed to him he told her she was delusional. After all they were enemies and she would be better off it they stayed that way. But ever since then whenever he looked at the girl her eyes mirrored her heart; shallow.
"I can't talk anymore. I have to go…" Ikuto trailed off. He couldn't listen anymore, all he wanted to do was get out of the situation.
That was the last straw for Tadase. He always shrugged off people along with their feelings and he was sick of it.
BAM! Ikuto rubbed the swollen red spot on his cheek and stared in awe at Tadase. Tadase's hand still stung from the force of which he had smacked him but at least now his anger had cooled down.
The bangs once again covered Tadase's eyes and he ordered, "Now go. Unless you want Amu to find another guy."
Ikuto did as he was told and ran away to find Amu. Tadase couldn't help but smile. He loved Amu and whatever made her happy was good enough for him right? He looked up to the blue sky which seemed endless and perfect today. Good luck Ikuto nii-chan.
Anngelica: Finally done! How did you like it? This idea has been in my head for forever. (Oh yeah nii-chan means older brother)
Miracle: I think it was cute. A little sad but still had that happy ending.
Corinthia: This seems like the most logical thing to happen since Ikuto's always hurting himself and Tadase cares about Amu's feelings.
Desire: I'm impressed. You made Tadase give up Amu to Ikuto without bashing him once.
Anngelica: The manga softened me up a little I guess -shrugs- Remember to review!
