Scorpious yawned and looked at the clock 11:59 one minute to go he got up and wandered into the hall

"Hey mike! When we get off you want to go get a drink?" he asked seeing his friend. Michal sighed and shook his head. "I can't man, I just had a last minute patient check in to room 613."

"Really what happened?"

"Auror trainee went out on an Intel mission with her mentor and they were ambushed. She got hit pretty bad in the side with a septum Sempra. She actually asked for you but the doctors decided that you had had a long enough day. So we fixed her up and I was actually coming to tell you. I figured you knew her or something."

"Who is it?"

"harry potter's trainee ummm" he looked at his chart " Rose Weasley" but Scorpious was gone as soon as the word Potter was out of his friends mouth.

Scorpious ran as fast as he could to find her. But when he finally reached her room he paused, took a deep breath and slowly opened the door.

Rose was asleep lying on her left side seeing as the right was fully bandaged from the top of her ribs to hip. Scorpious took another shaky breath and sat in the chair beside her bed. He reached over and put his hand over hers.

"I'm so sorry Rosie… I should have been here. I should have been here for you. I've been in this bloody hospital this whole time I just didn't know that you were. I should have known." He kissed her hand and closed his eyes as to prevent tears. He hated seeing her like this. She was hurt and he hadn't been there for her. She had asked for him and he hadn't come.

"Scoorp" she whispered. He looked up just in time to see her eyes flutter open. "Good morning angel. Did you sleep well?" he asked almost out of habit now.

"You're here. I didn't know if you would be. I hoped you would come. And you did." She sounded so tired and so sweet. Scorpious couldn't help but smile at her. he leaned over and gave her a kiss.

"I will ALWAYS be here for you. Always."

"Scorpious?" she asked

"hmm?"

"Love you…" she whispered with a smile. Her eyes began to close again and within seconds she was asleep. Scorpious kissed her forehead and sighed "I love you too Rosie. I love you so much."
