"Orochimaru-sama?" asked Kabuto from the doorway of his masters bedroom. Orochimaru had been very busy and Kabuto has not seen him for a while. If anything Kabuto was more worried about Orochimaru than Orochimaru worring about Saskue.
" Yessss?" Orochimaru snaked out, his voice like ice.
" I, um, well...you haven't been around much and I was wondering if you were alright.
Kabuto gulped. Orochimaru had risen out of his seat.
He came over to Kabuto and placed a pale hand on Kabuto's cheek. Orochimaru bent down a little to be eye level with Kabuto.
" Is my little servant worried about his master?" Orochimaru whispered in Kabuto's ear, his tongue flicking out to taste the lobe. Kabuto's stomach clenched.
Closing his eyes Kabuto replied, "Yes, just a little."
Orochimaru smirked." Come with me." he said.
Orochimaru led Kabuto to his bed. Telling him to sit, Orochimaru gave him a little rectangular box.
"Open it." commanded Orochimaru.
Kabuto untied the small bow and slid the lid off the box. Inside was a new pair of silver rimmed glasses. Kabuto looked up at Orochimaru, confused. Orochimaru simply shrugged and took the new glasses and crawled behind Kabuto. He took off Kabuto's old glasses and placed the new ones on his face. Orochimaru tossed the old glasses aside and hugged Kabuto from behind.
" Happy Birthday, Kabuto."
