Love in a Warzone

A short poem relating to the thoughts and feelings of all those who have someone fighting in the war.

I see the rain fall from the sky,

I feel the a tears slip from my eye,

I need your touch upon my skin,

I fear the air is growing thin,

I want to kiss you like the sunset pecks the hill,

I want you to know that I love you still,

I miss you terribly with every bone,

Oh how I do wish you would return home.
