Imagine your OTP holding hands as they walk through a snow blanketed city together, snowflakes dancing around them both as they stop to share a romantic kiss.
Standing at the corner of Fifth and 23rd, Maura grinned. She looked up at the breathtaking buildings in front of her. They looked beautiful covered in lights for the holidays. Snow fell on her honey blonde hair, quickly melting. Her nose was red from the cold. She shivered, still happy despite the freezing weather. There was a layer of snow covering the ground and cars parked along the street. As she walked down Fifth Avenue, she looked like a small child in a candy shop, eyeing all of her favorite designer stores. Maura and Jane were staying at the Shoreham hotel, right down the street from all of Maura's favorite shops, so they walked everywhere, even though everything was covered in snow.
"Thank you for shopping with me, Jane. Thank you so much." She said, smiling at Jane and reaching to grab the brunette's hand, twining their fingers together. She had been begging Jane for weeks to take her on a trip to New York to go shopping. Jane grunted at her, observing all of the stores with the Italian names and too-expensive clothes. Maura was too ecstatic to notice Jane's displeasure. "Jane, can we go to the Prada store first?" Maura begged. Jane rolled her eyes and smiled at Maura.
"Yes, of course, honey." Jane said, kissing the top of Maura's head softly. Jane desperately wanted to go back to the hotel and cuddle with Maura, but she liked to see how happy Maura got whenever she was near her favorite stores. It seemed to make her happier than Jane did, almost. As Maura went on and on about the history of all of her favorite stores, Jane was only half listening while she stared at Maura's beautiful face. "You know, you don't need all of these clothes to look beautiful. You could be wearing pajamas to work every day and I would still find you breathtaking." Jane interrupted.
"Th-thank you, baby." Maura stuttered, grinning as the pushed the button on the cross walk that would soon allow them to cross the road. There were no moving cars in sight, but there was still a bright orange hand, signaling them not to move. Jane stared down at Maura and wrapped an arm around her girlfriend's waist. "Oh, Jane. Look. We can go now." She said, beginning to walk. Jane was lost in Maura's beauty.
"What? Oh. I was just…" Jane started to blush, looking away as she walked across the road, her arm staying securely around Maura's waist.
Maura blushed, but it wasn't very obvious because her cheeks were already bright red from the cold air. She smiled at Jane. They stopped in the middle of the road, Maura reaching up and resting her hands on Jane's cheeks. Jane's fingers tangled in Maura's hair and they kissed passionately as large flakes of snow danced around them.
