Fay Dunbar had a problem.

Or rather, she had two problems.

The first problem was currently getting dressed behind her after what had been a thoroughly entertaining night of lovemaking that reminded Fay just why she loved Susan Bones.

Well that and the way Susan's nose wrinkled when she worried. And the way she cuddled up to her teddy when she was scared. (Something she did a lot of recently now that Snape and the Carrows were running the school and Voldemort running the country in all but name.) And well…everything about the girl really.

Her second problem was still in bed in the Slytherin dormitories. (And with good reason. The risk to a Slytherin caught in the Gryffindor tower, or a Gryffindor caught in the Slytherin dungeons was generally considered to make any such venture too risky.) And Fay loved her as well.

Her relationship with Pansy Parkinson was about hidden liaisons, kisses in empty classrooms and lovemaking in hidden places, with all the excitement of dodging as many people as possible and Filch and the teachers as they made love in broom cupboards and closets and exchanged insults and sneers in public and it was so very exciting.

But now things had come to a head. Susan was going into hiding with the DA and she wanted Fay to come with her. Pansy on the other side, wanted her to join the new Inquisitorial Squad in an open show of support for the new regime.

Fay rolled over in her bed and started grabbing her clothes. When it came to blood purity, she really didn't care about the issue one way or the other. Swiftly getting dressed, she walked out of the Gryffindor to find Pansy. Maybe talking to her (among other things) would convince Fay one way or the other.
