Since her crush didn't talk to her that often, Hotaru missed him, well let's say even though she blackmailed him everyday.
One night while walking in the girls dorm, she saw Ruka with Mikan. The 13 year old stoic calm inventor then can't handle what she felt anymore, called Ruka and said:
"Hi ruka! So you're with my Baka of a best friend huh? You told me that were going to eat together under the Sakura tree. Wonder why you didn't tell me you're talking with her. Well got to go and sleep, I need to sell your pictures early in the morning." Hotaru said as she turned around.
"Huh, when did she start calling me by my first name?" Ruka thought while Mikan grinned.
"Oh, and by the way Ruka, I LOVE YOU." she added then walk away leaving a giggling Mikan and a dumfounded and not to mention a blushing deep shades of red Ruka.
"Hey how come you never told me that you and Hotaru are a couple now? Did you know that me and natsume are tired of giving an advice to you? well, anyways, Take care of her, or else you'll regret being born." She said as she grinned then added"just kidding." She added and bid her friend a good night.
"So she do love me after all. Why didn't I even notice that?" he mumbled to himself as he saw Hotaru standing in the corner ready to walk away again.
"I hope tomorrow would be like this. I love you too, Hotaru." He thought as he stroll back to his dorm and sleep dreaming of his firefly.
