"Jillian Isabella Shepard, I love you." Kaidan Alenko said watching as Commander Shepard spun around gently calming herself down, her Alliance blue armor shining in the dim-light. He smiled as she began closing the gap between them

"How do you know my middle name?" She asked a stern look bedecking her young features.

"I looked at your file." He said gazing into her odd colored eyes the veins of brown overpowering the splotches of green which meant she was definitely mad about the whole fact he had decided to parade around with her to figure out what Cerberus was doing to get her to work with them, but at the same time the thin blue circle around the center of her pupil, barely visible to the average person's eye, meant she was happy.

"That must have been fun." She said spinning around breaking his train of thought as she began walking again.

"More like enlightening." Kaidan smiled as he thought about the days he'd spent reading her file, trying to bring her back to him through words on paper and now she was here in front of him her face reddened with anger and he could understand why.

"What do you mean?" She asked walking back to stand in front of him.

"It was insightful." He grinned a stupid gin enhancing his already firm smile into an odd decoration along his features.

"You didn't read-?"

"Oh I read everything." He said her face turning into a cherry on top of a voluptuous sundae.

"So you know about the –"

"About the fact that you went to school to be an actress, but instead enlisted to follow in your parents footsteps." He looked at her she relaxed like she was glad he knew, but her tone was full of anger.

"Dang, I thought Anderson took care of that." She spun around, quickly walking back toward wherever they were headed this time, her long auburn hair sweeping against her shoulders, he didn't follow this time.

"I'll have to talk to them about that." She stopped once she was about twenty feet in front of him, turning to him.

"You really love me, Kaidie?" He smiled at this notion.

"Always, Jilly." She turned quickly, but he could see the corners of her mouth slowly rotate upwards into her beautiful, but rare smile.
