I don't own Pokemon though I would be rich if I did.
There is a forest known as the Forest of Legends located in the northwestern most part of Kanto. Within this serene forest many types of creatures lived some small and some large, some with amazing elemental abilities and some with more ordinary abilities. These creatures are called pokemon. One of these pokemon types known as eevee was found in large numbers here compared to other eevee colonies. Humans often would come to the peaceful forest in order to capture these eevee to use for battles, as pets, or in the case of their evolved brethren to power factories. The humans came most often during the winter when food and shelter was scarce which made it easier for the humans to find and capture them.
In one section of the forest where eevee and its evolutions were rarely found a leafeon lay protectively guarding his mate's egg as his mate was currently off looking for thier next meal as he had just returned after an unsuccessful hunt. It was an especially peaceful part of the forest nearby a small river. Many hours later when his mate had not returned the leafeon decided to hide the egg in the leafs on the ground and go out and look for his missing mate. He searched long and hard but found no sign of his missing mate so after a couple hours he returned to where he hid the egg only to find that it had begun hatching.
