Hey Everyone! This is a tribute to my mother. It may be corny, but to me it means a lot. I'm not close to her, but if she read this, I know she would understand that I still love her. I love you Mom!

Oh, who is it that makes me wonder,

All the time I have to ponder.

The lady who makes my happy heart sing,

Like a couple of bluebirds in the spring.

She doesn't have a certain name,

Many things she does for fame.

A teacher in a room with a book,

Like a landscape from which you just can't look.

Her hair is as black as a cold, dark place,

Splaying around her wonderful face.

Eyes as blue as the seven seas,

I'm so glad she belongs to me.

Skin so pale, but aging be,

I love no matter what, it belongs to me.

Clothes as bright as the flower's bloom,

Her lovely smile can warm up a room.

She cooks and sews, fixes and cleans,

And she does all this for her husband and me.

Working all day, then coming straight home,

Never to wander, never to roam.

She buys me presents, makes my favorite meals,

When I get into trouble, she seals her lips with a deal.

This person who makes my happy heart sing,

Like a couple of bluebirds in the spring.

She hasn't need of a certain name,

So many things she does for no fame.

Her face, smile, and caring looks,

Is like a teacher and an open book.

That takes you places not gone before,

A beautiful person with ideas that just soar,

Who is this person that makes me wonder?

All the while my poor head to ponder.

For whom she does things for no other,

My friend, my life, she's my dearest mother.

Well, I hope you enjoyed it! I love to write poetry so if anyone has any requests or thinks I should try a certain subject then let me know! I'd appreciate it if you all R&R!!!!! Thankx!!!!
