DETAIL: Choose a HP character and write about something that happens to them on Easter Sunday

An odd egg

Hermione Granger woke up gently from her sleep on Easter Sunday morning. She stretched and lazed on the bed as she realized it was Sunday, then she realized it was Easter Sunday and decided to get up. She slipped out of bed and put on her clothes she'd picked out the night before, a light summer dress as the weather had been so nice lately. She also slipped on some flip-flops and headed down to the common room where Harry and Ron were already waiting for her as they tucked into their chocolate eggs and sweets they'd been sent.

They pointed to another pile and told Hermione they were hers. Hermione went straight over to the pile and picked one up, it had her name on it, and the next did, and the next, all from her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and from the Weasley's too. The one's from her parents and family were muggle eggs in a box, and the ones from the Weasley's were magical, with the wrapper shimmering and changing colour every few moments, but there was one egg that caught her attention, this one was just sat without a box and without shimmering happy paper. The paper was black with a green bow, it instantly set her on alert because the green was a Slytherin green. The boys hadn't noticed they were too busy with scoffing their chocolate to watch what Hermione was doing.

Hermione cautiously picked the egg up and examined it; it had no name on it only

'Happy Easter Miss Granger'

Hermione's eyes widened, there was only one person who called her that and she couldn't believe the boys would not have noticed an egg from him, but as she examined it more closely she realised the message was designed only to appear when she herself touched the egg. He must have told the house elves whose gifts to put it with last night. She put the egg back down and the message hid itself again, she went about reading who all the other eggs were from and opened a couple to indulge. She carried the rest up to the dorm and put them beside her bed, she noticed all the other girls had done the same and also had a lot of Easter egg gifts.

She wandered back down to the common room and the boys were talking about going to breakfast before they missed it completely. Hermione rolled her eyes and followed them anyways, she'd made sure not to eat too much chocolate so as not to make herself ill, maybe some toast would be better to eat now rather than more chocolate when they went back up to their dorms.

She sat down at the Gryffindor table with Harry, Ron and the rest of the Gryffindors. She glanced up at the head table only to find his eyes on her, their eyes met for a moment, she knew he was reading her to see if she knew, then she turned her eyes away, he knew she knew and he seemed satisfied with that for now.
