Today we see Ash and friends traveling through the Johto region to collect gym badges to enter the silver conference.
"Hey guys how about we stop at this pokecenter for the night." said Brock.
"Sounds good to me." said Misty.
"How bout' you Ash? Ash? ASH?!" yelled Misty
"Huh oh ya sounds good to me." said Ash thinking. Lately, Ash has discovered that he gets this weird feeling around Misty. But, he didn't wan't anyone to know. "I wonder if she loves me? Of course she doesn't! She is just your best friend." thought Ash. As he was thinking he tripped over a rock and fell face first into the ground.
"Oh ASH are you ok?" said Misty concerned and kneeling next to him.
"Yea i'm ok." said Ash looking into Misty's soft cerulean eyes.
"Hurry guys are we are going to miss Curfew." stated Brock.
"Alright Brocko, come on Mist. I'll race you there." said Ash. Misty blushed at her nickname she loved it when he called her that.
"Ok Ash your on!" said Misty. They raced to the pokecenter and made it just before curfew. Brock and Misty got beds and ash got the small couch. Everyone went to sleep accept Ash. He lay there thinking about how cute Misty looked when she slept. Then he heard the pidgey clock strike 12:00 a.m. He walked over to where Misty lay and said, "Goodnight Misty I love you more than my own life. Sweet Dreams, Maybe i'll have the guts to tell you tomorrow."
He went to the couch and laid down. With tears in her eyes Misty walked over to Ash and kissed him on the forehead.
"I love you too." said Misty half crying. Ash sat up in shock and took Misty's hands.
"You you LOVE me?" said Ash.
"Yes I do very much." said Misty wiping away her tears.
"I thought you hated me." he said.
"I thought you hated me until you came to my bed." she said crying again.
"No i don't." said Ash wiping her tears away. They engaged in a warm hug.
"Don't ever leave me." said Misty.
"I won't EVER leave you." he said engaging in a passionate kiss. They both laid down and Misty snuggled into Ash.
"I love you." she said.
"I love you too." he replied.
Yes, things were going to be different now.
