Inverse Teaser - Out Of Place

AN: This is just a teaser for now. Revel in it. I will continue it once I
finish at least one of my other series. This story also proves that you
should never think about anime while in the bath. It gives you strange
ideas.
Out Of Place - Teaser for Inverse
"Ah..! It's so sunny!"
I shade my eyes as I look up towards the sky. It was a clear blue, with the morning sun shining brightly. I smile as I walk through the woods. Something good will happen today.
As I walk, I notice a house in the woods which I had never noticed before.
"Mother, I found something..."
I talk to my dead mother as I go to discover the place that I had found. I continue talking to her as I note how peaceful the entire place looks. My attention is drawn to something sitting on the porch. At closer inspection, I find that it is a set of the Chinese Zodiac animals, painted on rocks.
"Cute~!!"
I happily proclaim my like of them, when a sleepy male voice interrupts me.
"Ahh..? There's a girl here?"
I look up to meet the eyes of a man, somewhere in his twenties, dressed in a kimono and reading a newspaper. I stare at him for a bit, then jump back, startled.
"Waai~!! Ahh, excuse me, I didn't mean to intrude..."
He blinks and laughs, saying that no harm was done and that the painted stones were drying in the sun. He then cocks his head.
"I suppose they aren't very interseting from a young person's perspective, though."
I immediately disagree.
"No, they're very cute. But as expected, there's no cat."
He looks up and blinks, surprised.
"Neko?"
He smiles. "Ahh, you mean that story."
I give him a smile, and inform him that Mother had told me all about it.
He suddenly gets a weird grin, and is suddenly on the verge of saying something perverted when a book bag came down on his head.
"Shut up, Shigure."
At that voice, my head instantly whips around to see...
Mother, this isn't real! It's my high school prince, the coolest person in the entire school, Sohma Akito!
