The Great Warlords
There have always been tales of monsters. Orcs, Goblins, Trolls, Dragons and all other manor of evil creatures that plagued humanity. Today, these things are considered nothing more than myth. The reason being that they are not seen today. But they once were real. They were abominations that wrought unspeakable suffering upon the peoples of the world. They are not seen today, because they were vanquished. Vanquished by the four great warlords. Born of the Kings and Queens of the free kingdoms of Sera, these four men would come to be known as the greatest warriors who ever drew breath.
Galthor, the Valiant. His was a courage that had never been seen before.
Malchior , the Swift. It is said that he could have moved within an entire battalion of orcs, cutting down dozens, without even being seen.
Vorak, the Mighty. Legends say that he once single handedly charged an entire legion of demons and emerged victorious without so much as a scratch.
Salazar, the Wise. His strategy and tactics were without flaw.
The four were truly a force to be reckoned with. It was said that when the four were united, no force on Sera could stand against them. Together, they stopped the demons in their tracks, and forced them back. Victory after victory was their's. But, mighty as they were, they were only mortal. They did succumb to the slow decay of time. But their children and grandchildren continued the fight. And after centuries of endless war, the day of final victory came. The very last monster was slain. Or so they thought. The few evil ones who escaped the massacre hid themselves deep underground. There, they licked their wounds, gathered their strength, and grew rapidly in number. Then the beasts waited, gathering their strength, eagerly awaiting the day that they would be strong enough to take their revenge upon the humans who drove them from the surface. But there is one hope. The lines of the four great warlords endured. It is said that one day, the true heirs of the mighty ones would unite once more and at last eradicate the demons. We can only pray that victory favors the four great warriors of Delta Squad.
