This year had been rough for Ikki, after all his Medabot adventures. Now school was done for all of the gang, all children were happy because now it was summer time, No school for a whole season. Time to do whatever children wanted to do all day long, and for Ikki and Metabee that was to go robattling, although little did they know a lot more than petty battles would occur this summer.
Ikki was on his way to find Koji to see if he had gotten any better, the two rivals had not seen each other for about a month, and Ikki was eager to find out Koji's skills.
"Hey Metabee you don't know the usual spot where Koji robattles do you?" Ikki asked his KBT bot.
"Why would I know, I'm not meda-puter or somthin," Metabee yelled in his cracky voice.
"Just askin, sheesh," Ikki said in a tired tone.
"I'll sheesh you," Metabee mumbled.
The two Robattlers made their way into the park expecting Koji to be there, to no ones surprise he was just challenged to a Robattle.
"Oh hey Ikki, come to see me win another Robattle?" Koji boasted while pressing a button on his medawatch to transport Sumilidon, as soon as he arrived Koji placed his medal in his bot.
On the other side of the field was an average sized boy with black hair combed forwards, he had a black and white jacket on with jeans tied by a belt.
"Transport Imperion!" the boy said into his medawatch while pulling out a swordsman-type medal.

In one of the trees there was a hole from which Mr. Referee popped his head out
"I officially declare this a submission robattle between Sumilidon and Imperion, the first one to stop the other from functioning receives a meda-part of choice for keeps, Medafighters ready, ROOOOOOOBattle!" the man said while being pecked by a woodpecker.
"Sumilidon, a good Swordsman is far superior in speed then us so wait for him to come to you, do not charge him," Koji strategized with a smirk on his face.
"Imperion, jump up at him for a better shot at his head," Kora suggested.
As soon as Kora finished the command Imperion leaped into the air with extreme light of feet. He landed behind Sumilidon, then quickly turned around slashing him in his head.
"Function ceased, Imperion is the winner!" Mr. Referri announced with one hand in the air.
"I'll take his hammer, good robattle Koji, I hope we do it again," Kora said with a smile.
"Don't get mushy with me kid, you won by luck, that's all," Koji grunted looking down then walking off.
"Hey you, that was some robattle, how can you move so fast?" Metabee asked in aw.
"Imperion's medal works well with his legs and it has a lot of training," Ikki explained.
"Thanks, o, and what was your name again?" Kora questioned at Ikki cheerfully.
"I'm Ikki, and this is Metabee," Ikki replied.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kora and this Medabot here is Imperion," Kora introduced.
"A pleasure to meet your acquaintance Metabee," Imperion shook Metabee's hand.
"Could you be Ikki Tenrio, if so I'm your next door neighbor," Kora wondered out loud.
"That's me, but where have you been all year?" Ikki pondered.
"At boarding school, but I'm off for the summer, hey would you like to come over to my house today?" Kora asked with a smile.
