She Loves Me Not

"I don't think we can be together anymore, Takeru." Hikari said as she looked into his big blue eyes. "But.why Hi-chan?" "I'm just not ready yet." She leaned over to kiss him goodbye but he turned away. "Just go." He said in a steely tone. Her eyes teared up as she ran away. Takeru saw that she was gone and stood up. "DAMNIT!" he screamed to no one. Then he walked home. It began to rain. Takeru kicked open the door and was soaking wet. "What's wrong Takeru?" Yamato asked. "Girl trouble?" Takeru spun around and swung his fist without realizing it. As Yamato lay on the floor, bleeding, Takeru retreated to his room. 'Why doesn't she love me anymore?' He thought. Then his anger took over his sadness and he thought of things he would never do.

A few weeks later.

At school Takeru saw a sight that would haunt him for the rest of his life, Daisuke holding hands with Hikari. He ran up to them to ask what was up. "Daisuke and I have been going out for a while now." Hikari said and happily kissed Daisuke on the cheek. "You said that you weren't ready!" "I guess I was wrong." She said, shrugging. "You act like it's nothing!" "It isn't anything, Taperu! Hikari chose me, not you." Daisuke said. "NO!" Takeru screamed, putting his fists to his head and shaking it vigorously, "No.no.NO! It's not right! Why did you leave me? WHY?!" He fell to his knees, crying. Daisuke pulled Hikari back, a look of disgust on his face. "You'll pay." Takeru mumbled. "You'll PAY!"

The next day.

"Isn't this wonderful." Daisuke said to Hikari as they sat together on the park bench, watching the sunset. "It is but I can't help but think about Takeru." Hikari said. "What do you think he meant when by you'll pay?" "It was probably nothing." They were sitting there watching the beautiful sight when Daisuke turned to her. "Hikari?" He asked. "What's wrong Dai-chan?" "Do you think we can, you know." See, Hikari had kissed him before, but only on the cheek, never on the lips. "O-okay." They leaned towards each other, only to be interrupted by a gunshot and Daisuke screaming in pain. Hikari leaned forward to see that Daisuke was covering where his nose should have been if it hadn't been blown off by the gun. Then a dark figure emerged from the bushes and leapt onto Daisuke. "She wasn't yours!" The person screamed as he punched Daisuke again and again. "You'll never have her!" The person then put the gun to Daisuke's forehead and shot him, spilling his brains on the ground. He then turned to Hikari. 'Blonde hair, blue eyes, Omigod!' she thought, then said aloud, "Takeru!" "Wrong." The boy said, "Guess again." Hikari gasped, "Yamato?!" "Right." He then charged and slammed Hikari against the wall. "Aa-!" she screamed but then stopped because he knocked the wind out of her. "W-why?" she managed to choke out. "You don't need to touch my little brother to hurt him. Just do what you did. Now I can save him from you, bitch." He spat and put the gun to her head. "Now you can live with your Daisuke." He pulled the trigger. The next day.

"Yamato!" Takeru yelled, crying, "Hikari and Daisuke were murdered yesterday!" "I know." "Huh?" "I did it." "What?!" "I said I killed them." "Why?" "I had to too protect you." "I hate you, Yamato!" Takeru screamed as he ran to the kitchen. He came back with a butcher knife and cut Yamato's stomach with it. He laughed maniacally as Yamato's guts flowed out of his body and onto the floor. He then said, "Here I come, Hikari!" He then thrust the knife into his head.
