Disclaimer: As much as I wish, I will never own something so brilliant.

"Why not just ask someone for directions?"

"We don't need directions, I know exactly where we are"

"You've been saying that for the past TWENTY MINUTES!"

"Lily, calm down, it's London. It's not as if we haven't been here before."

"James. This is the Muggle portion of it. And YOU haven't been here much."

"Of course I have, I always buy stuff here."

"Really, such as…"

"Such as…that little contraption that shows those images. You know, with moving pictures and sounds. And sometimes it shows those three guys, you know, the ones that are always hitting each other over the head."

"A telly? Television?"

"Yeah, that's what it is."

"Why don't we ask the old man…who was sitting on the bench we just passed." Lily pointed out the window at an old man who was sitting outside a petrol station.

This was the first time the couple ventured into Muggle London. Not to mention the first time James was driving a rental car.

He had convinced Lily they needed a rental car because he needed to make a good impression on her family. Actually it was just Lily's sister, Petunia, and her husband, Vernon.

The couple hated the two wizards, but James still insisted that the big oaf was a very sweet person, and in reality was a gentle giant.

"Tch."

"Will you stop doing that! It's difficult to concentrate with you complaining about men and them not stopping for directions. Honestly, how many men have you had in your life?" He started glaring at the car in front of him, as though the driver was Lily's ex.

"Enough to know that the one I married is the one for me." She smiled at the memory of the wedding.

"That means there were more?!" He turned to look at her.

"JAMES! Watch where you're going!" She gripped the arm rest and door as he dodged an oncoming car.

"LILY! You're going to give me a heart attack. Besides, this isn't the first time I'm driving."

"No, of course not, it's just the first time you're driving a car. In Public."

-SCREECH-

"Lily. Lily, open your eyes. We're here."

Lily opened her eyes to see James's hazel ones staring back at her from her window. He opened the door for her.

"See, I told you we didn't need directions. I knew exactly where we were going."

The couple walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. A short elderly lady answered.

"Yes?"

James leaned over and whispered "Must be there maid."

"Hello, we're here to meet with Vernon and Petunia Dursley."

"I'm sorry, you must have the wrong house. There are no Dursleys in this area." She closed the door.

Lily turned to look at James, except, he was no longer at her side. Instead he was running to get back into the car to escape her wrath.

Calmly she walked over and sat in the passenger side of the car.

A few minutes passed, they were driving back to the rental agency, "Lily, are you going to speak?"

Silence was the response.

"Lily, please don't be mad. It's not as if I knew where I was going. You even said so yourself. Please Lily, say something. Yell, or do anything."

"James," Lily spoke when they arrived at the agency.

"Yes, Lils" He looked at her, attempting his best 'Please-forgive-me-else-I'll-die-without-hearing-your-voice' look.

"You wanted to hear my voice, correct?"

He nodded vigorously.

"Just wait until get home, you'll be hearing a lot more of it. And secondly, do not call me Lils." She stomped on his foot and apparated home.

James had a feeling that this was going to be a long and loud day.
