"Sugee! Someone put pocky in my tennis bag!" Jirou exclaimed, ecstatic. Practise for the Hyotei regulars had just ended and he was getting his bag from the sidelines.
"Looks like someone has a crush on Jirou," Gakuto came bounding over and teased.
"I hope it's Maru-chan! Actually, I bet it is Maru-chan because he loves pocky!" Jirou wondered out loud, causing the others to sweat drop at being reminded of what Marui Bunta had caused Jirou to do (read my story Bubbles).
Silence.
"Wait, isn't this where Atobe-buchou comes in and interrupts us and orders us to 'stop fooling around' or something?" Shishido questioned.
"Where is buchou?" Choutarou asked, looking around said person.
"Maybe he was the one who gave me pocky!" Jioru suggested joyfully!
"I doubt that-"
"NOOOOOO!" Jirou randomly screamed and leaped away from his bag. The others regulars were, surprisingly, alarmed at this outburst because Jirou isn't the type of person to let out screams like that.
"What's wrong with you?!" Gakuto angrily screamed back.
"Gekokujou," Hiyoshi added in, probably just to annoy Gakuto further.
This worked.
"You shut up Hiyoshi! And why am I still screaming?" Gakuto screamed.
Jirou was running around in circles screaming, so the world of Hyotei was just a big scream feast.
"Jirou," Oshitari grabbed Jirou as he as passing him, which stopped the screaming, "What's in your bag."
"TOMATOES!" He screamed. Shishido put his hand over his mouth.
"Stop screaming!" He said loudly, trying not to scream(as much as he wanted to).
Jirou nodded, genuinely frightened.
"What's wrong with them?" Gakuto asked, opening the bag and taking out one of the cherry tomatoes.
"Mmmph mmp-"Shishido moved his hand, "I hate tomatoes! I had a dream that someone tried to attack me with tomatoes!" Everyone looked a Gakuto.
Gakuto threw one at Jirou's feet, and it bounced up and hit his leg.
"AHHHH! YOU'RE SO MEAN MUKA-CHAN!" Jirou cried, running to Choutarou and jumping onto his back to escape the tomato.
"Hey look! It bounced! HA!" Gakuto started to laugh, running after Jirou bouncing tomatoes to him while Jirou mushed Choutarou to run.
"Hey, that is actually funny," Shishido started to smile, "Wait. It's Gakuto, so it's lame." He tried to stop smiling but ended up on the ground laughing.
Even Hiyoshi found this amusing and started laughing.
And Kabaji and Atobe still weren't here.
Atobe, you will pay for planting those tomatoes in Jirou's bag, Oshitari thought darkly, already planning payback.
A/N: This was inspired by both .Days 'Prince of Tennis data' and my friend[whom is scared of cherry tomatoes every since she ate one and it disgusted her]. Also, cherry tomatoes do bounce, it's really funny!
Oshitari is going to have payback for all the nonsense Atobe makes him endure, and of course, Fuji will be involved...
