"Are you SURE she's dead?" Brooke questioned, uncertainly.

"Just look at her!" Edmund exclaimed, gesturing at Maria's mangled body.

Brooke nodded, "But are you SURE?"

"I am going to go find Leo," Greenlee annouced, seemingly unconcerned with the sight before her, "Who is going to come with me?"

Greenlee glanced in Brooke's direction. "NO!" Brooke thundered, stomping her foot.

"But you have experience," pouted Greenlee.

"Exactly!" Brooke declared, "First I have to find Tad who was not so dead. And then.... HER," eyeing Maria distrustfully. Turning to Joe, she questioned, "Shouldn't you do some kind of tests? Or something?"

"She is dead. My wife is dead! Again!" Edmund railed, as he flung himself to the ground, his fists pounding fiercely, overcome by a temper tantrum.

Everyone watched his infantile behaviour for a few moments before being distracted by a dreadful sound.

"My beauuuutiful Mariiiiiiiiia!!" Isabella wailed.

Edmund concluded his tantrum and sat up. "It happened again," he explained simply to Isabella.

"But she came back to us!" Isabella proclaimed. "Did you....." her eyes widened, "Did you leave her alone????"

When Edmund did not deny giving Maria enough room to draw breath, Isabella shrieked, "It's unforgivable!" and smacked him across the face, knocking him flat.

Jamie charged toward Isabella, his eyes burning in rage. "What did you have to do that for?" he cried, "I wanted to do it!"

Putting an arm on his shoulder, Tad reassured his son, "It's okay, Jamie. Look... see he is coming around. You can still have your turn."

As Greenlee started to move away from the group, David stepped forward. "Wait!" he proclaimed, "I will go with you. I save lives!"

Tad left with Jamie, apoligizing, "Well I'm sorry that you didn't get to hit Edmund first. But your mother wouldn't let me hit him at all!"

Edmund drug himself to his feet, chasing after Brooke, "But Brooke! Maria is dead now! Really this time! Brooke?!?!"
