"Ron" Hermione yelled from the bathroom upstairs "What?" she heard from behind her. It was Ron who happened to be standing right in the door way of the bathroom the whole time cringing at what she was about to say.

"You know I don't like it when you leave the empty toilette roll on the holder" she replied hoping he wouldn't snap at her little nag.

"Well I don't like the way you leave all your hair stuff lying around but you don't see me complaining" Ron hissed back, he knew one of his faults was he didn't like to be criticized but he knew that Hermione hated it just as much and they were about to get into a little but of an argument.

"Well, I don't like it when you come back from Harry's house stinking of fire whisky"

"I don't like it when you say something to yourself and when I ask what you said you just tell me it doesn't matter!"

"I don't like it when you insist on listening to Quidditch when the News is on"

"I don't like it when you invite my whole family around without asking"

"I don't like it when you leave the dishes dirty when you are perfectly capable of cleaning them yourself"

"I don't like it when you try out a new recipe from one of those Witch Weekly Magazines and they taste horrible"

"I don't like it when you leave your broom cleaning kit everywhere"

"I don't like the way you whisper with your Ginny but won't tell me what you said"

"I don't like how you keep going on about your so called lucky underpants"

"I don't like it when you play the same song over and over again on Saturdays"

"I don't like it when you talk about Quidditch but I have no idea what you're talking about and I just have to nod along"

"I don't like it when you wear all that makeup, your pretty just the way you are"

"I don't like it when you have to work late and I can't snuggle up with you on the sofa before I got to bed"

"I don't like it when you are upset about something but you just tell me it is nothing and I can't make you smile"

"I don't like it when you get jealous when I talk to other guys; you know I only have eyes for you"

"I don't like how when I'm not with you all I think about is you and when I'm with you, you drive me mad"

"Thank you… I think," Hermione laughed gazing into his eyes.

"Well, that's love" Ron said back, a loose smile filling his face.

"How do you know you're in love?"

"Could someone who wasn't in love with you notice you have six smiles"

"What would they be?" Hermione asked bringing her fingers to her lips.

"One when you are genuinely happy, one when you are trying to be polite, one when you are daydreaming or thinking back to a happy time, one when you are being clever, one when you are smiling for a camera …" Ron said a very special smile meeting him.

"And what is the last one?" Hermione asked.

"One when you are looking at me" Ron said back. There was a brief pause where the couple just gazed at each other and time seemed to bare no relevance.

"You know I love you, don't you?" Hermione said drifting out of the moment.

"Hermione, the way you smile at me those three words never need to be said again" Ron said giving Hermione his incredibly special smile and she gave hers in return and in that moment they really understood the meaning of love.
