Elle slowly and quietly got out of bed in attempt not to wake up her sleeping girlfriend.
Just as she was finished gathering her clothes, Claire's beautiful green eyes began to open.
" Elle ?" Claire asked.
" morning " Elle said as she dropped her clothes before going to sit on the edge of their shared bed and giving Claire a light 'good morning ' kiss.
" Morning" Claire said as she leaned in for another kiss.
Elle got back into bed and put her arms around Claire's waist, bringing her closer.
Claire rested against Elle's chest while the older girl played with her soft blond hair.
A while later Elle let out a small chuckle.
" What" Claire asked lifting from her position on Elle's chest.
" Nothing" Elle said.
" Elle" Claire said.
" Really Claire it's nothing" Elle said and let out another small chuckle.
" What, Elle please"Claire said as she drew out the word please to make it about five silabils longer than it was meant to be.
" nothing ... It's just" before Elle continued, she leant down and kissed Claire.
"What was that for" Claire asked smiling.
" you look beautiful when you sleep" Elle said looking directly into Claire's eyes.
" oh" Claire said surprised.
" I love you claire - bear" Elle said after a while and as she grabbed one of Claire's hands to gave it a squeeze.
"I love you too Elle" Claire said before cuddling back up to older blonde.
At that moment Elle felt perfect, like her dad and the company and the experiments never existed.
But then again Claire had that effect on her. And after all this time, Elle finally felt what love felt like ... and she loved that feeling.
