A/N: Borrowed the Character of "Max" from the Book Golden Boy by Abigail Tarttelin.

A/N: Strong Language.

It's been a while. They've been in completely different countries. Every time they talk, he's sure he can hear his voice change. They have to do a Prep meet. They haven't done one for years. But they have to. Now he's going to Devenford. Liam hopes his brother doesn't turn out like them, like Clay and and Theo and Brett. Liam shakes his head in mid thought.

Act like Brett?...That will never happen, it's his brother.

He plans to meet him at the air-port. But around One, he sees a Taxi pull up. He gets nervous. He's proud of him. Liam himself was always the freak even before The McCall pack. He was Always the embarrasing one, and his brother was the opposite. He was Cool, calm, self assured and...

"Li! Howdy!" His Brother says pulling him into a warm but tight hug.

"You're cutting off my oxygen" Liam wheezed, as he noticed Girls looking at his brother from across the street.

He threw an arm around his shoulder and guided him inside. He watched his Brother put his bags in a neat pile and go down the hallway. No-one would know. In Beacon hills. In this Sleepy but vicious town of Kitsune's, Berserkers and Were's no would know about his brother Max. He was a little older, but they looked around the same age. When they were at the same school everyone thought they were twins.

Max was taller. No matter how hard the sun shined his skin always stayed a sheltered pale. He'd grown his hair out, it was almost touching his shoulders. He came into the apartment and brightly smiled at his new home.

"Li, you cleaned the kitchen, you've vaccumed, you've even ironed the curtains"

"That wasn't me, that was Mase, my room-mate" Liam told him.

"Cool! He did all this for me?"

"No, he's so fussy he does this stuff three times a week" Liam grinned.

"Keep him around Li, If I have to smell your Scooby Doo socks one more time..."

"That was Two years ago!" Liam whined, but he'd still bought a new pair secretly.

They sit down with Cherry colas and Cheese and Bacon Sand-wiches with Lea and Perrins mixed with Ketchup. Max fills him in, he's seen Mom and Dr Paul Geyer. They were all going out to catch up later. Their biological Dad,Steve was back in Oxford. Liam had been Texting them back and forth after the London terror attacks. But everyone was fine, on their end. It was one of the many reasons Max had come over in the first place...

"How did Stevie's political campaign go?" Liam wondered,

"Not as Dad Planned" Max said holding up a British newspaper...

"The Seven Scandals of Steven? Ouch!" Liam said grabbing the paper, but his brother waved it away.

"Come on let me see!"

"Trust me Li...you're way too young to be looking at page Five" Max laughs.

"Talking about Scandals...you've got the right things with you...right?" Liam asks nonchalantly.

But Max knew that his heart was beating out of his chest. Liam was a tough cookie. He'd been through alot. He couldn't deal with this though. Max had decided that his "true self" was hard to handle. Well for everyone in his family to handle. He'd only tell Liam the basics. The simple things. The easy stuff. That everything was fine and there were plans in place for every step of the way.

"All documents are changed or locked up in London. No-ones ever going to find out. Unless you get mad one day and sell me down the river" Max chuckled.

"Never" Liam promised.

"I know" Max soothed, reaching out to grab his little Brother's hand.
