Is it true what the Bible says

I sit on a rock looking at the water watching the rapids crash against the jagged rocks

I start to wonder 'What if I jump in?

what would happen to me?'

Then my thoughts turn to Jesus from Nazareth

'is it true what the Bible reads?'

'Is it true that Jesus died for me?'

'Did He actually bear a horrible punishment just so I wouldn't have to pay?'

'Is it true what those Christians say?'

'Is there only one way?'

The more I sit the more I think.

There's tugging going on inside of me

I sart to believe

I give myself over to him

and things become clearer to me.

Then I got up from where I sat

I jumped into the water I was staring at.

He lead me through rapids one day at a time

and through the years I grew wise.

Now I look back to where I once sat and asked

"is it true what the Bible says?"

And I can answer that

" yes it's true He died for me and you".
