Prologue

The Davis House, 12:00 pm

"Mom, Dad? Where are you? 13 year old Kira Davis asked getting extremely worried. She hadn't heard anything since 10:00 that evening and she wasn't used to that. Bang! A shriek echoed from the family room. Kira sprinted down the hallway and halted as she saw the sniper rifle. Ice blue eyes stared down at her with a cruel accuracy that suggested something darker than his face showed. As he cocked the rifle, a door crashed open and Pamela Davis ran down the hall her face contorted in terror as Kira made a run into the kitchen and picked up the phone and dialed James Ryan's number. Nobody answered. Then in desperation she dialed Benjamin Jason's number. "Hello?" A male voice said "Ben, thank God! Listen you've got to help me plea….!" A shattering pain cut through her leg and she dropped the phone. As six more shots rang throughout the house she whispered "Please God let me live." Then everything went black.

The Jason House 12:01 pm

"Hello?" Benjamin Jason said staring at the phone as a female voice cried "Ben, thank God! Listen you've got to help me plea….!" Then a bang echoed through the phone so loud that Mr. and Mrs. Jason yelled "Ben what was that?!" at the same time in worried voices. A tremor went through his body as he ran out of the house. He heard his clothes rip as he snarled. Then he changed into a black wolf and ran through the backyard.

The Ryan House 12:02 pm

A phone rang somewhere in the house as James Ryan got up to answer it and a white blur leaped at him as he fell, a searing pain shot through his neck. Everything went black as soon as the door shut.

3 days later…

The Cullen House 12:00

"Ali, how long until our new sister wakes up? Said Edward Cullen "Exactly 39 seconds" Alice Cullen exclaimed. "Jasper, get down here. I don't care how much control it takes to contain you from jumping on her." Ali exclaimed. "Why? You know I won't be able to control myself around newborns." Jasper Hale called down from the upstairs game room. "Just get down here!" Ali yelled, her voice echoing in the silent house. "Okay! Okay! Fine! You don't have to yell I can hear you!"
