Dare Devil vs. the Slashers
Hell's Kitchen, the home to many people; criminals and bystanders alike, but one character the stands out is the blind vigilante the Dare Devil, tonight he stalks the streets of Hell's Kitchen listening to conversations, and the cars passing. Suddenly louder than all those things to him is a cry for help.
Five blocks away a girl is surrounded by three men dressed as escaped inmates with masks over their mouths, bald and rank, holding makeshift swords and axes, their skin color was green as if they were already dead. They walk towards the girl and the first swings his sword at her, Dare Devil arrives in time and blocks the creature's attack. Blocking it with his cane and sweep kicking the monster, making it fall on its side, the others charge Dare Devil swing swords and axes as Dare Devil uses his acrobatic skills to dodge every blow.
Dare Devil then shoots his cane at the Monster impaling it to the wall behind the girl, the other monster swings its sword scratching Dare Devil across the chest, Dare Devil then kicks the creature upwards, hearing a cracking sound the creature's neck was broken by the kick, killing it instantly, painlessly. Dare Devil grabbed its sword and went to the knocked out creature and cut its head off, blood gushing from the hole Dare Devil then walks towards the impaled creature telling the girl, "Go, run home and stay in your house."
The girl runs off as if she was relieved that she wasn't going to get mugged or raped or even killed. Dare Devil then walks up to the creature –still alive- and asks, "Who sent you?"
The creature doesn't answer; the creature takes off its face mask and begins to laugh. Dare Devil, with sword still in hand puts it to the creature's throat and asks a second time, "Who sent you!?"
The creature then says, "Slasher 1026 requesting self termination, respond Umbrella headquarters."
Dare Devil then hears the response saying, "self termination granted."
The creature then starts to have a seizure, his flesh begins to melt off his face and his eyes turn into white goo, then his skull begins to show, as the creature melts a puddle of blood and melted organs and bone next to the feet of Dare Devil all that is left of the creature is its skull, it was human, so Dare Devil then says, "Umbrella Corporation, very interesting…"
Dare Devil stumps on the skull shattering it, pulls the cane out of the wall and drops the sword, he then scales the walls getting to the roof and looks at far off sky scraper, it begins to rain seeing it with his radar like sight he says, "If this is your doing Alexander Cade you will pay…"
