In 2021, the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO) met to resolve the problem of poverty and disease. Every nation on Earth, decided to murder the sick and unintelligent; especially those that carry DNA that procreate disease. Project Cure went into effect in 2028.
Although the rest of the world implemented Project Cure, the United States was last to adopt the measure. At the time, the citizens were proactive and surveillance governmental regulation concerning medical and education systems. 140th Congress strongly opposed project Cure; largely because citizens were becoming citizens of other countries and infant mortality rate was extremely low. Congress concern the population density would be greatly affected and they could not effectively run the country. Never mind the Constitution stated life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness could not be taken without due process of law.
Implementation of project Cure finally approved because the Prosperity party ruled all three branches of government; which believes that intellect conquers any and every barrier.
It began as a one year trial run in impoverished states, cities, neighborhoods etc.. Educational and medical facilities that were governmental funding dependent every student and patient were required to be tested. Once project Cure was established as law, every citizen undergo testing intellectually and medically; for the first year of testing, those who didn't pass both tests were murdered. In 2028, project Cure achieved approval and is in full effect even today.
In an effort to save, lives Irina and Eleazar Denali created a program to give those who were in disqualified under project Cure a second chance. All over the United States Last chance concentration camps were built to house and test qualified candidates. In these concentration camps, candidates are tested for supporting roles. Personality tests were added to identify rebellious candidates. Personality test wasn't implemented in project Cure until 2030.
Starting in March 2025 to December 2027 United States experienced turbulence via civil unrest. Streets were filled violence. Business could not be conducted; you had acts of terrorism. The states had hard time quelling the rebellions which were as many stars in the sky. Although it was the federal government decision, the burden of quashing the rebellions we're on the state. Massachusetts aired that they would pay per one thousand dollars per rebel killed; the rebellions we're under attack within and without. The last rebellion fell in December 2027.
Humanity is defined as human race or human beings collectively; humaneness or benevolence. Whatever that means. What does it mean to be human? Where is humanity headed? Can we even call ourselves human?
