Lizzie sat on the bench with Donald discussing their plan until their parents came to get them.

"Lizzie, your dad's here!" Mr. Cooper called over. Lizzie beamed and raced over, grabbing her bag from the cubbies right inside the door and giving her dad a hug.

"Someone's happy." Red chuckled and kissed the top of her head.

"By Donald!" She waved to the boy still sitting on the bench. He smiled shyly and waved.

"Wait, so I'm taking two kids to a movie I don't want to see?" Red asked small smile on his face as he looked appraisingly at Lizzie as she cut up her waffles.

"Well you're taking me, and Donald's parents are meeting us there."

"Tell me more about this Donald boy." Red sat back and crossed his arms as Dembe put more waffles on Lizzie's plate.

"He's in my class. He has yellow hair."

"What do his parents do?"

"Pick him up from school?" Lizzie offered.

"What's his last name?"

"Ruzzlrr." Lizzie said around her mouthful of waffle.

"Dembe, add this kid to my to do list." Red said, eyes flicking to the window as the bus pulled around the corner.

"So Donald, I hear you have taken an interest in my daughter." Red sat down next to the boy on the bench under the tree in the school's playground.

"Uh...yes sir." Donald looked at the mulch beneath his feet nervously.

"Daaad! Stop!" Lizzie pulled on Red's arm.

"Go get your bookbag Elizabeth." Red said shooting her a smile. She looked between the two with indecision before finally doing as she was told. "Now, Donald. Tell me your intentions with my daughter."

"I...I like her."

"So I hear. You asked her on a date. Don't you think you two are a little young to be dating?"

"She asked me out." Donald said.

"I see." Red's eyes flicked up as Lizzie reappeared.

"And a little friendly reminder that if you make my little girl cry I'll destroy you and everything you love." He gave Donald a squeeze on the shoulder and a smile before taking Lizzie's hand and walking out with her. Donald smiled weakly when Lizzie waved over her shoulder at him.

"Dad, this is Mr. And Mrs. Ressler." Lizzie said motioning to each respectively.

"Hello, Raymond Reddington, a pleasure." He shook their hands.

"It's nice to finally meet you Mr. Reddington, our Donnie has been talking about little Lizzie for months now." Mrs. Ressler said smiling.

"She's practically a celebrity." Mr. Ressler chuckled.

"Moom, Daaad stop!" Donald shot his parents each a glare.

"Shall we go then?" Red asked as the five went to buy tickets.

"You have to sit in a different row." Lizzie whispered to Red as they stood in line for snacks.

The parents found seats in the row behind the kids and the kids settled in for their movie date.

"Did you two have fun?" Red asked. Lizzie nodded with a sleepy smile. Her small form was tucked neatly against him, his arm around her. She let out a wide yawn and he smiled.

"Thanks dad." She murmured.

"For what?"

"Donald told me you threatened him." She giggled. "I love you."

"I love you too." He kissed the top of her head.
