She was running for her kiss
When he stood in her path
Both were unsuspecting,
Both were innocent
She was meant to be with him
And he was meant to be with her
But Fate was playful
And he was rough
So instead of him and her,
She fell for another
Though their love
Remained unnoticed
She was there for him
And he was there for her
They went through a lot together
Most were tough, others tougher
When the thought suddenly hit her--
She loved him right from the start
Along with this realization,
He came, her angel
Swooping down from the heavens
Their love finally shining
But what destiny put together
Fate must tear apart
Though he would never forget
His first love--that's her
