What if

I didn't shoot the old lady?

What if

I hadn't taken the gun?

What if

We didn't need the money?

What if

Cassy wasn't sick?

What if

Mikey hadn't been laid off?

What if

Luce had stuck around

instead of running away,

taking Gabe with him?

What if

life had stayed simple?

But

Cas is sick

And

Mikey did get laid off

So

Luce did run away,

taking Gabe with him.

We did need the money,

And

I did take the gun.

So,

here I am.
