Touya had always wondered what that white building was for. It was a solitary building, with one view of a magnificent, broad green field, spotted with vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows of blooming flowers in the spring. The other side had the view of a sparkling, deep blue lake that stretched and stopped with a green line on the horizon.
Every day, when he passed the building in his car, Touya wondered what secrets could possibly be hiding in that simple white rectangular box of a building. He was dying to know, but as his car sped by again, towards Pokemon Trainer School, he knew that he would probably never get to see it from the inside out.
The view of the brick-red school came into view just as his car began to slow to a stop. When he stepped out of his car, his brown eyes alighted upon a frail-looking girl. White hair, sickly pale skin, light purplish-pink eyes, legs trembling with every step; that girl looked like the breeze could blow her away into Kanto. Touya, brows furrowed, debated whether or not to look like a creeper and try to help her, or let her wobble her way to the office.
"Um..." He awkwardly mumbled as he walked up to her. "Do...uh...you need any help?"
Her eyes widened as she stared uncomprehendingly at Touya. The arms holding her books trembled further and her mouth opened slightly in a small O-shape that left her looking astounded.
"..." She was silent for a moment, before looking down and murmuring, "No thank you. I'm fine."
Touya was silent, and in the moment that he had to spare, he took a glimpse at the paper she was holding with her frail, breakable hand.
Room 96: Black
With an almost inaudible sigh, he walked off, hands in pockets, towards his friend, Touko. He almost completely ignored her high-energy greeting as his mind was elsewhere.
She's in the same class as me.
