AN: 'Ello, This story is basically written by me, Jeyna Ponds, and a friend, we read a series by Wendy Mass and hated the ending of one couple, if you have read Graceful, you will understand. So here is the new, and improved version of, Rory at the Vortex!

"Mom!" The boy shouts up at me. "Guess what? Dad said I could keep my eyepatch! Now I can be a pirate for Halloween!"

My heart speeds up. I'm a MOM! Dad? He said dad! The boy breaks away and runs back toward Jake. "Dad!" He shouts. " Can I really keep the eyepatch?"

Jake says, "Of course, Buddy!" I look down at my finger. This is the man who has my heart, there's no doubt. I feel a surge of love so powerful, it almost knocks me off my feet.

I look back up at Jake, who has the little boy on his shoulders and is talking to a women holding out a movie script. The scene begins to fade away. I try to reach out for something to hold on to, something to keep me grounded here, but all I feel are hands in mine. I look down, hoping its the boy's hands, or Jake's, but they are gone.

AN: Hoped you enjoyed it! My friend and I just felt like it was Wendy Mass leading us down this path, " And look at all the pretty trees and flowers, and look at this view above a very non-steep incline," Stands behind readers, kicks us off the edge of a tall cliff, "See ya' later suckers!" And then we splat down on this image of Rory and Mr. Not-Even-Important-Enough-To-Have-A-Name! So, yeah, we fixed it! :o)
