I should have taken my own advice.
I know my heart is weak
Especially for that kid
So, I should have built a barrier
But that kid would have knocked it down
Like he did
When we first met.
I knew that we were the same.
I knew that he reminded me of myself
Before all of the crimes.
That is probably why I always wanted to protect him.
That is probably why he was like a brother to me,
My only real family.
But that kid,
Was braver that anyone else I know
Even myself.
As tough as I try to be, I'm still a coward on the inside.
That kid didn't deserve the life he had,
But I hope that he will forever be precious to someone
Because he was precious to the Gang.
He was precious to me.
